I'm actually from Felixstowe but seem to spend a fair bit of time in Ipswich, though most of it not in the town centre. If I knew what you looked like may I could stop you in the street.

As someone else pointed out there is a fair chance that many of the Linux mags are sold to people who, like me, work at BT Adastral Park. In my experience plenty of the people who work there live in Ipswich, but plenty also live in the surrounding towns and villages.
