Hi Folks I'm back after some months of absence (been else where on other projects). I now have XFree86-4.10 and KDE2.2 installed on a spare 40Gig drive (I know, it's only a baby), and am trying to get a dual head display running. The graphics card has two GD5462 chips on board, but I'll be b***red if I can work out how to get both of them to work. Has anyone succeeded in running a dual display, and if so, do you have any pointers ? Regards, Paul.
In answer to my own question - It helps if the correct config is edited i.e. /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and a read of the man page for XF86Config is useful. Still can't get the dual head card to display on two monitors, but at least with an AGP card in there, I do have two screens. Off to find a couple of cheap PCI cards in the morning ! Regards, Paul.
