I was delighted to see our very own Ted Harding mentioned in LWN's interview with Owen Le Blanc (creator of the first Linux distribution, MCC Interim Linux):

That caused me to go and see when we'd last seen him on-list - looks like it was back in 2019. Further digging revealed that he passed away in October 2020:

A great loss indeed. Ted was a lovely man, always helpful and generous with his time. I corresponded with him often (both on and off list) on a variety of topics over the years. I also met him in early 2010 when he responded to one of my "having a fie out" posts and took a load of redundant kit off my hands.
So sorry to learn of his passing.
