Whilst on the subject of books, I was thinking of taking Jens page on Lniux books and building it into a larger page with details of the ALUG discounts and also the recommended reading list.
My page is a bit crap really. Oh well. I've got more stuff to add to it, so I'll write it out in html format and you can just paste it in the appropriate place, then, yes? Sorry i haven't finished the network card link yet. I've forgotten what i did now, to be honest. Re. this BBQ.....are you saying the meeting on aug Whatever is going to have food at it, or is this something else? FOOD! Ergates.

CVS works from here, so unless you can give me some useful debug information, I'm stumped.
ROFL... just checked here... there is no trailing / on the cvsroot. I'm a moron. Again. I guess the people who succeeded are used to leaving them off. I'll change that when I get home.
Can people now check out according to the instructions on http://www.anglian.lug.org.uk/background/ with that change?

Ah, I'll try this again tonight and see if I can get it all working again!

Will do from home.

That's not enough to pin this down, it seems. Running cvs in verbose/debug mode if I could find the option would help, as would seeing if you can connect to the pserver port on the cvs server.
Whats that supposed to mean?
I know another David using that nickname. That's all.

If its as you say a problem with the trailing slash I will try it tonight and see, failing that I will look for a cvs debug option.

Scary, they don't happen to be Tux/flamebait/carpel as well?
Thanks
