try 'man xset', I think there is an option in there...

man should automagically go through some form of pager without having to invoke more or less.
Of course, man has no man page! :D
man man Sounds like man is not quite set up right on your distro ... normally I'd make some smug comment about 'apt-get install manpages', but having failed to get X running on your box (as well as David's laptop) I'll just keep quiet ;-) Andrew. -- All views are my own .... who else would want them?
