I think this was also mentioned yesterday: "PsiLinux is a project to port the unix-like operating system Linux to a group of palmtops produced by Psion, and related machines such as the Geofox One. At present, working linux systems can be installed." http://linux-7110.sourceforge.net/
Anyone using it?

I know, it was always one of my favourite PDA designs the OS was pretty good too and Psion as a company were quite helpfull.
I remember working at a company that had a team of sales reps who had 3c's, one smashed his up pretty bad....Psion transfered the data from the broken one to the new one I bought from them F.O.C
Testament to how good the 5MX was...look at the price of a good 2nd hand unit on Ebay, they are very, very sought after.

and funnily enough I have one for sale right now :D it will go on ebay in a week or so but of course alug can now have a chance on first dibs!
I have an Ericsson MC218 (which is a psion 5mx with the Ericsson badge) fully boxed with manuals and all accessories. It works perfectly, the stylus lock still works etc (in reality I never used it for more than a few hours!) it has a backup battery and 2AA batterys free, the modem thing etc. ummmm... it has a mains adaptor, and a serial lead to connect it to serial peripherals (along with the lead to plug it into your linux box) like the gps or modem and is well sexy i will also chuck in an 8Mb compact flash card if you want (not big enough to run linux on tho). If you want to make me and offer for it reply via private mail and let me consider it, if nobody wants it then it will be on ebay soon....
