Browsing just now on the ALUG home page
I found that everything that points to anything under
ends up at
http://www.alug.org.uk/blocked.htm
with the page:
ACCESS DENIED You have been blocked from accessing this site due to the security settings in place
If you feel this in error please contact the mailing list for assistance.
This is only a temporary measure until stricter posting rules are put in place.
I know this is an old issue, but I'm windering how it's going. It doesn't look too good to have 4 out of the 9 links on the home page going nowhere!

Sorry, in an absent moment I forgot to include the final lines I intended to write! Namely:
It's one thing to prevent the unauthorised from editing or spamming these pages. It's another to prevent them from being read altogether. Assuming there's something on them, of course.
