OK, thanks all, I have enough responses now to see that I can read 'normal' E-Mail and I can send messages to the list. For some reason though since about midday I'm no longer receiving any mail from any of the lists I'm subscribed to.

.... and now all of yesterday's mail has suddenly appeared. Ordinary mail wasn't delayed at all but list mail was, most peculiar.
