As header anybody else having problems with our domain?
The short answer is yes, this is/was a problem with DNS yesterday but hopefully things will be settling down now. This brings me onto the next thing which is quite important.
I will no longer have the facilities to host Alug's web site or mailing lists after the 31st July, and therefore would like to ask anybody who has a UNIX server going spare if they could take over the hosting. Alug's web site and mailing list traffic doesn't cosume much bandwith (I barely go over 200Mb per month even with my own personal sites) and everything can be shifted over via various tarballs. Mailman is incredibly easy to install and integrate into any Exim or Sendmail system.
If anybody would like to take over, please drop me a mail off-list and we can start sorting out what's going to happen.
Regards,
Martyn

Reckon we should ask someone at the UEA to host it? I could find out?

We have servers that could host it for free, (php4hosting.co.uk) just let me know

It started there ... might be nice to let some other organisation in the region have a turn ;-)

Well it would move to one of the boxes in the MTH ;) Or 2 other people are willing to host. But it's up to you :)

As far as anyone at today's meeting knows, not yet. I've certainly not heard anything yet, and I'm the current web dictator.
