Not sure whether anybody would ever be remotely interested in this, but if any of you guys want a career in the ISP industry, you might want to consider moving to London :) The position is currently based in Greenwich, but will move to Docklands before the end of the year. The two positions available are:-
SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - Network and UNIX Administration ============================================================= A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Senior System Administrator to work as part of our Systems Administration Department. The Successful candidate must have experience of working in a project-based environment, Internet experience and skills in two or more of the following disciplines is required:
Essential =========
Experience of working in an ISP environment
Excellent Solaris knowledge.
Strong TCP/IP and related protocols (e.g. HTTP, SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP routing and routers.
The role will also entail documentation of all procedures.
Routing protocols (OSPF / BGP4 / RIP)
ISP experience.
Shell scripting
Perl
UNIX security
Good knowledge of LINUX.
Debian.
Preferred =========
NT Systems Administration including IIS and SQL
System monitoring software (i.e. mon) Large backup solutions Clustering solutions
Network redundancy
The successful candidate will show a great willing to learn, someone who can work well under pressure and that is flexible and reliable. They must be well organised and able to work on their own and in a team, but always with the team in mind. They must also show an extremely high degree of responsibility at all times although a good sense of humour is a must.
There will be future opportunities to obtain more in-depth knowledge of the above.

The same goes for Zeus, but you don't have to move to London you would have to move to Cambridge ;-)
