I am looking for means of posting to both at the same time. For example if I post on Twitter, it also reposts to Identica. I know that Identica offers this feature, but as of yet I have not found a means of doing so via Twitter.
Any suggestions? Linux or Windows.

http://ping.fm is able to update lots of different (micro)blogging sites at once
Hi Steve,
I use gwibber https://launchpad.net/gwibber to post simultaneously to both twitter and identi.ca - also supports many others including facebook and so on.
I have had trouble getting it to work out of the ubuntu repo on one of my machines - working fine on others though.
