Has anyone had trouble with "make modules" on RedHat 7.1?
There seems to be some errors in module.h

nope, I've complied 2.2.17, 2.4.2 and 2.4.4 under rh7.1 several times with no problems... Neill
There are problems with compliling some more experimental modules in the 2.4.x series of kernels.
Are you using kgcc to compile the kernel?
What version of the kernel are you trying to compile ?
Is it a vanilla kernel, redhat or have you patched it?
What are the error messages ?
