Does anyone have any thoughts about colour (=photograph) printing under Linux? Everything I've researched starts off by talking about 'The Linux Printing Problem'. I have an HP DJ930C and it seems to work on Mandrake 8.0 using a combination of CUPS and Kview. I really want it to work under my favourite Slackware, since Mandrake seems to run like a snail through treacle for me. I started off reading the Printing-HOWTO (several times) but, unlike most of the Linux HOWTOs that I've read, the printing one seems a complete muddle and I fear I'm none the wiser. I don't seem to be able to collect the right parts together to make Slackware do this thing so I was wondering whether anyone else has? Thanks for any pointers! Gerald.
