The one night of the week I'm always out elsewhere and you had to pick it heh!
Is there a Norwich area weekend meet anytime soon?
Thanks,
James

Lets organise one :) I am sorry that I can't make tomorrow night as I wanted to go, shall we do another Sunday afternoon in a decent pub again? The 5th birthday party was a nice afternoon spent in good company.

30th May is good for me, although other Sundays certainly considered.
I only have one request - a pub in a good signal area for Orange networks due to on-call procedures I'm involved in.

There is an Alug meeting in Syleham at 2pm on the 30th which quite a few people will be attending. So that is probably not a good Sunday for a Norwich pub meeting. Like the idea of Sunday pub meets though :)

I suggest not going to the pub anywhere on Unthank Road then. The reception is so poor.
Never noticed, and I live just off Unthank...
But for reception, I'd suggest either of the 2 on Dereham (City Gate or Reindeer, which has *definately* gone up hill, visited it on Monday, very nice pub now with a large non-smoking area and a nice selection of beers at not entirely out rageous prices, about £2.15 for a pint).
Cheers,

A sunday afternoon at the Reindeer sounds good! Before or after Syleham? The "Wierd and Wonderful Wood" fayre is on the 22/23 w/e but maybe not many ALUG members will be going to that.

The web site says:
Norwich, 27 June 2004 A Norwich Sunday meeting at Nelson Court, UEA
If Syleham is "close enough" then I think BJ might be plotting, or I might be wrong.
Anyone want a fenland meeting in a fortnight?

Evening or w/e? What date(s) suitable?
Was thinking evening, but don't really mind. Looks quite empty that week so far. What's good for others?
