Not strictly Linux related but has anyone seen the new Mac Mini that's recently been announced ?

Looks pretty sweet to me and I also find it quietly amusing that for less than twice the price of a boxed copy of Windows XP Pro you can buy an OS that is at least twice as good, plus the hardware to run it on.

I definitely want one, but it's persuading the missus that's the difficult bit - it's already far too crowded in our place with computer equipment! :)

Martyn

Ahh but the neat thing is that it's small enough that you can hide it under a pile of paperwork and pretend that you are running a highly tuned copy of PearPC.
Or the strategy I often use in these circumstances is to keep a nice pile of dead beige boxes under your desk (that you insist are staggeringly important) When it comes to negotiating the purchase of another toy grudgingly admit that the room is a little cluttered and you will attempt to relieve the situation by giving up one of the "other" machines.

That's a very good idea! I like it.
Cheers, Tim.
Just to regurgitate an old discussion (and for anyone who doesn't normally read DWN), have you seen this: http://sowerbutts.com/linux-mac-mini/
