I've got a 'bit' of an e-mail backlog here hence only just reading this! But if your interested I'm in Braintree!
I know it wasn't me that sent the original message, but I am in Maldon. I made contact with Tim in Witham and we are planning to go for a beer sometime. We both have our own small companies so there should be plenty to discuss. We were also considering hosting one of the ALUG meetings, maybe in North Essex somewhere.
Are you knowledgeable about Linux or are you just starting with it like me?
