Even then you don't get the company name. It's possible but hard work and messy, I'd like to find a simple way.

You should be able to get this with:
sudo nmap -sn 192.168.1.0/24
adjusted for your network (that isn't mine, but looks to be the range you are on. If you have a subnet mask wider than 255.255.255.0 you will need to adjust the /24 notation.
the -sn is a ping scan of the network and returns info in the form:

Ah, I misunderstood the requirement. I thought you were looking for the MAC addresses of the other hosts on the network. In which case I would try:
ip -o -br link | awk '$0 !~ /lo/ {print $3}'
I'm assuming you only have a single NIC, so...
for the ip command: the -o puts the the output on a single line for each interface to make processing easier the -br uses the brief format with only basic information, which includes the MAC address
for the awk command: the $0 !~ /lo/ excludes the loopback interface from the outhput (which is in the first column) the {print $3} only outputs the third column which has the MAC address in
if you have multiple NICs or interfaces beyond the loopback one you'll get multiple lines

Ah, I misunderstood the requirement. I thought you were looking for the MAC addresses of the other hosts on the network. In which case I would try:
ip -o -br link | awk '$0 !~ /lo/ {print $3}'
I'm assuming you only have a single NIC, so...
for the ip command: the -o puts the the output on a single line for each interface to make processing easier the -br uses the brief format with only basic information, which includes the MAC address
for the awk command: the $0 !~ /lo/ excludes the loopback interface from the outhput (which is in the first column) the {print $3} only outputs the third column which has the MAC address in
if you have multiple NICs or interfaces beyond the loopback one you'll get multiple lines

With the other solutions posted I couldn't resist trying to come up with an improved variant of the above that just gives the MAC address of the default route:
ip -o -br link show `ip r l default | awk '{print $5}'` | awk {'print $3'}
I've used show to just show a single interface The `` allows me to find the default interface by picking it from a route list and use it as a parameter At which point you don't need to exclude the loopback interface so I can remove that bit
With computers there's always more than one way, and rarely if ever a one size fits all solution.
I was geeky enough to insist on coming up with more solutions for a Prolog problem on a course many years back. I found the solution I had come up with was in a book in the store across the road - just had to prove I hadn't just copied it like everyone else; not to mention the challenge :-)

ip -o link | sed -ne '/state UP/ { s#.*link/ether ##; s# .*$##; p; }'
Look at how many fewer processes that uses to get the same result ;)
