Hi
I have installed VectorLinux 4.3 on my ThinkPad 380ED.
It comes with a number of x managers. Which one is the best.
Obviously this is no beast of a machine and I have DSL running FluxBox which looked great, but FluxBox on VectorLinux looks rubbish.
Any advice.

Very much personal opinion. I lean towards lighter weight options myself; I use evilwm which has virtually no eye candy at all. In the past I used to ve a WindowMaker fan. Try all the options out and see what works for you?

Is it just configuration differences? Can you copy across the FluxBox config from DSL to your VectorLinux install and get the look you want?
I quite like the look of xfce as lighter all in one environment than KDE/GNOME.
