Hi all, following yesterday's post about an APC UPS I have now installed apcupsd and checked the apcuspd.conf. I'm stuck on the message "PANIC! Cannot talk to UPS"  then "destory_Semaphore: can not destroy sem" (the "destory" is correctly typed here) when i start the daemon. Am I missing a driver? Could i have the wrong lead?(it is a 940 0095a-c, I trawled about and it seemed that one would be ok). All I want is for it to do an orderly shutdown in the eventuality of an extended powercut (such as we had the night before last). Jenny.
