Hello,
Well, I have got a CD ready to burn with over 400Mbs worth of stuff for you all, but the CD-drive is giving "Drive not ready". I rebooted to no avail. So there's a lesson in relying on university machinery for a evening's work. :((
If, by some wierd chance no-one has tried to burn a CD themselves by Tuesday morning and thefore kept the software, I'll try again then. Otherwise we'll have to wait until our next meeting, and I shall quite possibly not be at uni for that so I won't be able to make a CD anyway.
So there you have it.
Yours depressed,
James Green

I've already done a CD with KDE 1.1, kernel 2.2.7 and a few other bits and bobs, mostly SuSE RPMs. I'm about to start fitting the CDR to my PC now, but I think I've run out of PCI slots so I'll have to put into another one. Whatever, I hope to have it ready for Sunday, it just means bringing 2 W95 PCs instead of one... Shall I bring my 486 Linux box too? It may be better than trying to use the Hotel one, which is "live"

Deep joy: I've got Debian 2.1 disks 1 and 2 burnt onto CD now. Doubt I'll get a chance to put anything else together though :-(
