Re: [Alug] Distro's, Hardware and Gaming
I also like the good 'ol games. I have fond memorys of chucky egg on the BBC, which I still have and will one day connect to my linux network :o), I quite like the idea of porting it to linux, but thats abit beyond my level ATM. Space invaders, Snake and hardball/breakout are all good for winding down. The other classics I quite like are Duke nukem 3d, doom trilogy, and a friend has got me into playing Rogue spear on his PC. I may as yet treat my self to Soldier of fortune, one day :-) Thanks D --- MJ Ray <markj@cloaked.freeserve.co.uk> wrote:

What are there in the way of Linux games available?
Well, I'm quite into simpler games, so these probably won't be to everyone's taste, but I enjoy XBlast and many of the libSDL games. Not much more advanced than your original consoles, but I find them fun. I don't think I've actually any games installed right now. I must put that right. -- MJR
