I use solid-pop3d mainly for the APOP, its always been good to me, might want to give that a try.
Only thing that I can really say against it is that hitting on the correct config file options can br tricky sometimes. (...and I don't have them to hand... group ID was the problem, IIRC).
I've been swayed towards qpopper.... Anyone anything adverse to say about it ?
