Wow, I have just surfed over to http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/listen/index.html
To pick up a music stream to listen to and I was greeted with this message
"Hello, Linux user! Virgin Radio is available in your favourite MP3 player (and Real) - the other stations are just in Real format. You can download a Linux version of Real Player from Real.com. You can also listen to our Windows streams with Crossover."
I think that is the first time I've seen browser/os detection on a website and it hasn't displayed a "Your not using IE6 on Windows XP, GO AWAY" message.
What a nice change.

Very refreshing news. It makes a nice change to see something positive happening for a change.

Wow it gets even better
"Great news! By popular demand, we now also have FOUR Ogg streams, including Virgin Radio Classic Rock being available in stereo for the first time! Most Linux users have recommended XMMS to listen to Ogg, which comes with most distros."
Well done Virgin

Well done Virgin
According to "James Cridland, Managing Editor, Virgin Radio New Media", there are more ogg streams coming later this week! Not that I spend my time emailing random people at Virgin... nooo, I have far better things to do with my time.
