This is just a final test to confirm that the list has moved to the new server at lists.alug.org.uk and changed its name to "main". I'll update the web site and add forwarding to take care of it now.
You will need to visit the web site (address below) to reset any special options. We have moved between versions of mailman, so I haven't kept option settings. Regular/digest was kept, though.
Apologies to digest members for the extra email. ;-)

On whose generosity do we now depend, both for the mailing lis and for the web site?

Hosting of the site, the lists and any member's pages are now hosted by myself. Just to give everybody a bit of background on the server and what it's running:-
- Hosted with Rackspace.com in San Antonio, Texas - AMD Athlon 750Mhz processor, 256Mb RAM, 20Gb EIDE (UltraDMA 100) HD - 10Gb bandwidth per month inclusive allowance - Sendmail 8.11 with SMTP AUTH patches - Bind 8 (whatever subversion that's NOT vulnerable to the exploit) - Emumail 4.5 Webmail interface (running with SSL) - not yet Alug facing - Zeus 3.4r1 web server - Running PHP 4.0.6, MySQL, and CVS servers.
ALUG is welcome to use the services of this server for as long as needed until I either can't afford to maintain the server, or die :)
