Hi all,
I've got some stuff that I don't need:
1. Domex 3194UP SCSI card. 32bit PCI slot.
I've got one SCSI cable to go with it. Not used it in years, so don't know if it still works. Was working when it was removed. It was supported in Linux with the 'initio' driver on 2.6.x kernels, but I have no idea about 3.8 that was just released.
2. Universal Scientific Industrial BD-B022 "Remote Access Host Card"
PCIe 1x slot. I think this is a Dell product (FX100 Remote Access Host Card?). Has 2 DVI ports and one RJ45 port. Has a JTAG connector, I2C connector (some of the pins are bent), RS232 (one bent pin).
I don't know if this is even working.
If anyone wants them, give me a shout and I'll bring them to the next pubmeet, otherwise they will be going to the bin / council recycling centre (landfill?).
Regards, Srdjan

Thank you - I'd rather like that

I would be pleased to give anything SCSI a home. I'm particularly keen to get some SCSI HDDs - there's only one left working in my old all-SCSI 90 + 90 server - that takes standard SCSI, but my full tower has an UW SCSI card and only one working UW drive. (My first scanner has UW SCSI connection)

Anything SCSI? I have Tandberg 525MB tape drive with an A4 box full of tapes which I'd like to dispose of.
The drive is a 5.25" device about the size of 5.25" floppy drive. I could deliver to you if you're interested. I wouldn't fancy dragging it to a pub meet and I can't imagine you would want to lug it home on a bus either.

Thank you for your kind offer.
Not conversant with that device, but to this collector of ancient things, it sounds rather earlier than anything I have in use.
Oldest 'device' I use (apart from the PCWs when I get new elastic bands for their 3" drives...) is the old all-SCSI dual 90 MHz processors server with a bank of 10? defunct HDDs, and even that hasn't seen the light of day for a couple of years.
I am at a loss to think what one would use the tape drive for now that hard discs have arrived...
Please enlighten me!
(I have two Tandberg semi-pro cassette recorders and I like the quality innit.

It was used for backup on the controller of a high volume laser printer but they were also used for the odd mainframe task.
As for age, I think it was first used in the mid 80's.

Ah, I think my 'anything SCSI' was probably a bit over unspecific. I have little enough space left in Chez Walk Sideways, and I think my terrabite external drive will probably outperform even a SCSI tape streamer?
Thanks for offering it, and i might have been pleased to give it a home if I weren't trying (vainly) to make more room by disposing of treasures - and other things.
I have up for grabs an external CD reader/writer which ran on 16 bit, and IIRC, through PCMCIA.
I'll dig it out if anyone is interested in it, and enlarge on available details. PCMCIA card not available - took (486) flaptop into a shop to see if they could source a battery for it, and when I went back, the shop had gone - or rather, the occupier had.

Still up for grabs... I'll bring it with me and see if anyone wants it.

Sorry - slap my wrist - I got engrossed and missed speaking to you before you departed. I'll try a bit harder next time!

No worries, no need to apologise :) It was fairly busy anyway, and I had to leave early too.
Hope you're having fun with the hardware.

I have to have a small archaeological dig to unearth the box before I do anything - it's beneath a lot of more recent strata.
