Is this your home directories and CVS repository?
I can recommend StorageTec tape silos!! We back up 15PetaBytes of data on these!!! :-)
Seriously, DAT's are fine. At home I back up (using BRU I must admit) across multiple DAT's. If you get a DAT drive with an Autochange it'll do this automagically for you during the night. Any half decent backup software will support the autochanger.
Some of my FTP Server's here at work I backup to DLT's. These are fine for smallish file servers - well 40GB on one tape.

I guess I better get this back on a linux related theme ;).. does anybody have any suggestions for a reasonable backup devices other than dat under linux ?? we need to back up about 15 gig, dosen't have to be than fast, (well overnight will do!).. it seems that dat's are now becomming a little small ;)..
please, no suggestions of 15 jazz drives ;)..
