Hi,
I'm having trouble recently with the tops being chopped off of my printouts, using a usual lpr+ghostscript setup. From talking to a few people, this isn't a rare problem, but does anyone have a solution?
Thanks,
MJR

Longer paper :-)

Had this problem with the top 1mm so changed the margins in the gs setup my Mandrake 7.1 uses a console tool for this- which increments in points (1/72in) increments. I expect that Slack uses a config file and text editor (the proper way).
Strange if this has just started to happen though, had a Windows inkjet that did it, turned out to be paper dust on the feed rollers, just a thought.
Cheers, BJ
Sounds as if you ahge the wrong paper size configured

The only time I have seen this is when printing from an app like StarOffice when the margins are too small for my printer and those chopped are usually at the bottom - SO prints the top of a text doc first.
Please ignore me if I am being too simplistic.
