Hi all,
I'm about to start my final year project: a newsreader for the KDE project.
I've used Microplanet Gravity on Windows which is just brilliant, and I'd like to approach something like this in my project. But before I get started I'd like you lot to advise me on:
- what you'd like - what you'd need - likewise for dislike/don't need
I'm away this weekend from e-mail (I'll be meeting you guys!) so unless I read mail this afternoon, I'll be responding next week.

slrn with a real GUI
- what you'd need
GTK+, Xlib or self-sufficient. Not reliant on any DE. A way to download, compose replies, queue and upload.

Bloat ;)
You may be entertained to know that my newsreader at home is "mutt". Fun, eh?
