Hi,
Has anyone got their Logitech iTouch keys working? I have, except that they only work if xev has the focus. Graa.

I was curious after this was mentioned at the meet. Am I right in thinking this needs X4? LXF had sold out in KL, again, it seems.

I can only venture a cautious 'probably'. It relies on the XKb extension - I don't know whether there's a sufficiently flexible X3 equivalent.

Oh no, X3 has Xkb. It's just that pressing the keys I want to get working (Power, Sleep, Wake) while pointing at xev shows no events...

Sounds like X is throwing away the scancodes. Out of luck?
On a related note, Windows initiates poweroff if I hit the power button. Do you know how I can catch this event or make init catch it?

It's just occurred to me that you may be able to get them working by changing your keymap. If you have a Logitech cordless iTouch, then I can send you a list of the scancodes my keys send (I have moon, various audio controls, and four 'internet' keys), if it would help.

What keymap should I use? I have the normal UK 108 keys.
