I think Chris probably meant this to go to the list... so...
(Also: Chris, you probably want to check your address book, sending to main-bounces tends to end up with it not getting to the list, as it's an unrecognised bounce so only hits the list admins)

I've looked on the web site about a meeting and it says 'Second Thursday of the month' but has that been thrown out of kilter by Christmas and the New Year or will there be a meeting at the C&H tonight as usual?
I was expecting to see an announcement on Monday as normally happens, hence the question here.

Yes I did.

Address book? I can't use something new fangled like that ;-)
All I did was go back to a previous posting and click on the 'from' address which is how come it ended up going to the 'bounces' address.
So I should simply have scrolled won further until I got to the main@li.. address. All that extra effort ;-)
Did I miss the announcement on Monday or wasn't there one? It's not in the archives.

You did miss it, but probably mainly because there wasn't one.
So, does that mean I've missed tonight's meeting, or isn't there one?

There was one so I guess you've missed it.
Can I express my thanks to Nev for trying to make my new phone send and receive emails, unsuccessfully sadly.

No need to run for cover. I think we would have had more luck with semaphore.

Nope, I reckon our friendly meeting reminded person disabled the cronjob over Christmas and has forgotten to re-enable it... Either that or he didn't automate it in the first place, but that sounds unpossible.
Cheers,
