Hi,
A room has been booked in Union House at UEA for ALUG2 a week on Sunday, from 1400 until 1900. If you can now tell me what we're going to do, I'll publicise it on the newsgroups. We may be able to set up a IP-masq network connection for the meeting, too.

Cool, I can make that and maybe bring my PC (with Ethernet card).
I completed my last exam <insert Homer phrase: "Woohoo!"> Thursday morning so that's all behind me now. Just gotta find a house for next year...
I am currently preparing to involve myself in at least two projects over the summer, possibly more. No doubt by the time the meeting comes along I'll know more.
I'll be back in Norwich this evening (following some sleep <yawn>).
Regards to everyone,
James Green

Excellent! I *shall* be coming this time and will bring the 'gigabeat', my standalone mp3 player, now running rh 6.0. This is entirely controlled by a numeric keypad and 20x4 lcd display, so sits snuggly in with my hifi and now contains my entire CD collection (about 500 tracks) and is well under half full. It is a good example of linux's flexibility as an OS.
I just hope my taste in music is not too offensive (everybody likes 'the birdy song' dont' they ? ;o)

For the sake of definiteness, would you care to put a date on this? Do you mean 20 or 27 June? ---------------------------------- Politics: The conduct of public affairs for private advantage Ambrose Bierce Raphael Mankin E-Mail: raph@panache.demon.co.uk ---------------------------------- [ This email came to you via the Anglian Linux User Group list ] [ If you only wish to recieve event announcements, email the ] [ SUBJECT of "unsubscribe" to this list and "subscribe" to ] [ alug-announce@stu.uea.ac.uk -- We do need your support, tho' ]
