We are to develop a series of mass user content driven (with editorial control) internet start ups in the uk/norwich, using open source on the linux platform, we are struggling to find a particular solution to one of our needs, ie content management.
do you know of any open soure software that is similar or close to the following CM software

any help would be greatly appreciated, there may be other reasons to talk/meet soon.

I've no idea. The website you mention is so amazingly content-free that I can't tell if the leading Linux CM/app-development systems, Zope (www.zope.org) and Midgard (www.midgard-project.org), are anything like it.
