Network drawing tools - any [good] Linux ones?
Are there any Linux network drawing tools? I don't really want a full-blown Network Management solution like OpenNMS or Nagios, I just want an easy way to map my home network that doesn't require me to do it all manually. -- Chris Green

You could try [Dia][1] if you really need a linux-specific tool but otherwise I'd recommend https://www.draw.io/ :) Steve [1]: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Dia -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJUjupgAAoJEL/3HArzwYbRydsP/2k0LwM7YUbT4/FmrkmtiKsV WLdlKhprx2sPRvgkN/4jcVd/Ls6FnxsgtEHEEm5sSakd2XA3isvrLIKM8aB4ikhn 8uPkKv6zQGZXQ1MkngDmDDxNdn5nmHqLWTuIlzw8vDttVN3HZz3DC5EFL68BPamJ Wm0ih8bDVWkw7PFcA8CN6piIuxxxSZqWRMYs9tfCvWIZ+2sH0P0x+038VouX3pAt GDfV6Q+xAgTpsFjMmOkS8YmeIaxNO25mXBMLETSLgeY8efpQp4kY2x04jOYBnw1r QH8EeLoPhuOhDjj282zj8YNIYr8FIvyv9HsXRAE8jEotJbllA3N6mMzQkqCg7ii0 CP0qQF9GB/gt1/9LOOluCPMKRGC21MazLZbFrlqgTtmury5F3smzBQALfuhXY93e /O+rpIGtYXsHtbdHfpfD6Pwi0dabxWEKfk1ibmdJ9PEu+qbvdkS5SfKDdMhbh5Y1 pbd5vr4KjRlOfHI6jAcAAY+pOGn3U3zY8zyDqC2ipXx7ABaIPBKPF6ZUX6/X1M+d btsFZPtGF8fS1gNwmnQuuheALV/G4p3wVqBTNaOu8MMipddHLlMcW7EI2y2qN+Wj EjCgp39oy12jSyacfIltWSpdPriPjoSx1i1bxUIv8f/rEPMZkNz1A206T5FfxY4D cZ2T3EyEsdn9qvDePG0N =awUW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

I've maybe not explained right, I don't just want a drawing tool that has the ability to draw networks, I want something that does basic network discovery and draws what it finds. The ability to add names, descriptions, etc. manually would be nice though. I already use dia quite a lot. -- Chris Green
