I've alos go a copy of RedHat 6.0 - can you tell me how to install it - It wont let me make any boot floppies ???
I've created the installation disk if that's what you are taking about. However on installation it stops at the configure mouse section. It gives me a menu button to carry on installation but nothing works (apart from setting the root password). I also can not make a boot floppy, it asks me to put the floppy in the drive but does not write anything to the disk. Does anyone know what's up with it?

I got the boot disks ok and got it to install via http from hensa, took bloody ages though, any one know why sunsite has the directories but not the files??
Anyway, it installed, but the only part of the install routine that failed for me was the timezone config.
Any ideas??

I complained to Sunsite (wizards@sunsite.org.uk) about this 2 days after RH6 was released. He asked me to detail what was missing; I did and gave up after detailing about the 12th directory which needed to be redone. I told me there was so much missing that they really needed to refresh the 6.0 directory totally. I never received a reply.
I have seen a message on /. that at least one other mirror has the same problem (could even be sunsite.org.uk).
I guess they're either having problems or can't be arsed to do anything about it (I'll place a bet on the former, I think :).
I suggest people on this list start complaining to them.
Er, forget all that. They appear to have the files now.

Not on sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk
/public/Mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/redhat-6.0/redhat-6.0/i386/RedHat/RPMS is still empty :-(
And installing from HENSA takes too F***ing long, and I cant NFS mount it like I can sunsite.

Hm. You're right. wizards@sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk to complain I think...

Who is in the round-robin affair for sunsite.org.uk then? I logged into it early this afternoon and found RedHat6 no problem with the files.
