Someone has asked for my help in trying out Linux via Live CD's, Knoppix seems obvious, as does Ubuntu. I also thought I might include a couple of the Slackware based Live CD's, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Mandrake/Mandriva Move is a good one for those used to a Microsoft environment. Full kde Oo.org and all the other goodies you could want and seems to work where some others won't. I still prefer the Ubuntu one though but I do use Ubuntu for most things these days.

I had a look at this, however unless I'm not looking in the right place it seems to only be available for sale. what I'm looking for is a free download. I don't mind making CD's to give away as a promotion of Linux, but I draw the line at buying them.
