For the future, might I request that meetings are held at least 2 hours after high tide at Woodbridge, assuming that we continue to meet in Woodbridge?
What has Linux to do with the time of high water, do you ask? Well, for the 2-3 hours before high water I shall want to be sailing, not sitting in front of a computer ;-) ---------------------------------- 2 + 2 = 5 (for large values of 2) Raphael Mankin E-Mail: raph@panache.demon.co.uk ---------------------------------- [ This email came to you via the Anglian Linux User Group list ] [ If you only wish to recieve event announcements, email the ] [ SUBJECT of "unsubscribe" to this list and "subscribe" to ] [ alug-announce@stu.uea.ac.uk -- We do need your support, tho' ]

Heh. Fair enough. Although I suspect the meetings will move about East Anglia a bit, so that we don't always have to travel far to get to them. Norwich next, anyone? :-)

Although I'm more than happy to continue to host meetings at the Melton Grange, I do think it's only right that we should move about a bit. Aside from fairness of travel, it would encourage more people to participate if the meetings were in their locale once in a while. Given the space we have, we might be more appropriate for larger meetings or ones where we want to spread kit about, set up networks, etc.

I've no objections to Norwich (of course). If we could find another venue or two in the centre/west of the region, that would be ideal if we could cycle between them. Anyone able to arrange anything yet?
