I see that the latest Definite Linux is now available to download from:
ftp://212.1.130.10/pub/Definite/7.0/
Details at: http://www.definitelinux.com/
Far too big a download for my modem connection. I'd really like to try this as it's a UK specific distro based on Red Hat (which I use). Any of you Uni chaps like to do me a favour and grab me an ISO on your fast connection before the next meeting?
Talking of the next meeting has a date been decided yet?
Cheers, BJ

This appears to be the same release I bought at the Linux Expo 99 a couple of months back. Installation is basically Red Hat slightly modified for UK users and with a choice of installs labelled IIRC Workstation, Server and Custom. I have the Workstation subset installed on two separate machines.
You have a choice of 3 desk tops, Gnome, KDE and AfterStep selected via the switchdesk command. Intsall was starightforward with Gaome the default WM. Both function OK tho' the Gnome RPM manager crashes regularly.
