Hi. Well I have just joined the ALUG and I thought I would share a little about myself. I've been into computing for over 17 years, firstly on Windows. I have spent the last 10 years as a hardcore Mac fan, until a few weeks ago when I decided to give Linux a proper try. It has always been something I have played with on and off. I have a Samsung A10 laptop, it is a 1.1Ghz Duron with 1GB RAM dual booting Ubuntu 9.10 and Windows XP Home. I use Ubuntu 99% of the time and only use Windows as a backup just incase. Ubuntu runs like a dream on it and this latest version has the best hardware support I have ever found, it was easier to set up some of my hardware under Ubuntu than it was Mac OSX. Well that is me. I'm not too experienced in Linux but I am learning on a daily basis and loving everything I find. Regards

Here is, thanks to MJR for hint on MIME, how you reply in thread while receiving the digest, using kmail.
First you set as he suggested the digest form to be MIME.
When the digest arrives, open it, then click on the Encapsulated message heading for any particular post, such as this one.
Then click and hold down Reply. It gives the option of reply to the list, which when you take it, results in this message.
Hope this really does come in thread. It is a bit odd that it does not find the address itself however, you have to supply it manjally, so maybe it won't....
