I think two sites on one day is too much. Why not take advantage of the May/June split and have ALUG do both dates, one in each venue?
I think so too. We *REALLY* need to advertise- but where? In computer shops maybe? Get some posters designed?
April - try to get a King's Lynn venue, probably tomorrow.
Fine by me, depending on the date.
May 19th - Syleham (BJ, did you book it already?) Linux Install Day
I might be able to make it, although I have exams the week after (and will have been on hols the week before)
June 9th - UEA Norwich (need someone to book this) Linux Install Day
I will certainly turn up!
July } { One of these a BBQ, maybe at Syleham?
Yay! BBQ!
Aug. } { One of these a normal meeting, maybe at Elmswell?
Yay! ANOTHER BBQ!!!
Start screaming now,
AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! :) (someone had to do it)

Local Radio, local newspapers, local TV (yeah right ;)) umm, on usenet, in computer magazines, on webpages, local computer stores, maybe get John winters of linux emporium to put something up on his page, relevant mailing lists....
I need dates well in advance of meetings now, if not i won't be bothered to make the journey...

Last year for the national linux day thingy I contacted both Anglian TV and said they were happy to put a thing in their "Whats on" thing on the news, they did how ever say they needed more notice.

More notice than what? We have about six weeks to the first one at present. We need to get started on this now, and then we can use the (hopeful) Lynn meeting to plan it further.
