Hi folks, Does anyone on the list have any recommendations for secure, reasonably-priced on-line backup services that are Linux-friendly? Cheers, Laurie. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Laurie Brown laurie@brownowl.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! I use CrashPlan which is pretty good but cross-platform capability comes from being Java based which makes it memory hungry. Goof enough overall that I just renewed though. Apparently a native lcient is in the works but that's been the story for a while now. A nice feature of CrashPlan is that you can use their software to do P2P backups - ie you can backup your files to a friend's PC and vice versa - for no cost. You only pay for data that you upload to their storage. That said you can achieve similar functionality through btsync and others... -- Mark Rogers // More Solutions Ltd (Peterborough Office) // 0844 251 1450 Registered in England (0456 0902) @ 13 Clarke Rd, Milton Keynes, MK1 1LG
+1 for CrashPlan I had to speak to their technical support via web chat the other day and found them were really helpful. Cheers, BJ
