Pan is a very nice newsreader for X. See http://www.superpimp.org for more. The only reason I don't use it is because it doesn't have scoring as good as slrn's.

BTW its nice to be using Linux for just about everything now. I might even ditch MS soon and just leave it on the kid's box.
