I finally did something I've been meaning to do for a few days and gave the people at bestevent.co.uk a call. They run computer fairs around the ALUG region (eg, King's Lynn tomorrow, Thetford Sunday, BSE & Norwich the following weekend), so I thought putting a few leaflets out at their event in exchange for some leaflets at ours would be mutually beneficial. However, I seem to have been offered stand space at tomorrow's King's Lynn event. Foolishly, I accepted.

Erm, help.

Is anyone else in the King's Lynn area able to come along to Lynnsport tomorrow and man the stand for a bit? I'll do the first hour or two (10-12ish), but I really need to get repairing my car and sorting out the house too. Even if you don't want to man it, I'd like to meet any other ALUGgers in this area. If no-one can, it's not a dead loss, as I'll leave the leaflets and posters which I'm hastily preparing for people to post back to us, or come along to one of the next few events.

If anyone can email me ideas (or even whole lumps of text) for leaflets, that is also good. At the moment, I'm ripping through the ALUG site. I'll chip in a few quid for printing, but any more help would be welcome. I also don't have any giveaway CDs any more... anyone able to obtain some of those, either now or for later?

More generally, is promotion at some of these fairs a good idea? I guess tomorrow will tell...
