Good, I'll bring some if I can find any, I think I used all mine recently.
Damn. Overslept. Just leaving. Hope to stop off and get some, but time is getting tight.
Also will we have access to update the website from where we will be at the hive?
Can't update hte site from anywhere atm, sadly. The www.anglian address needs pointing at a new machine.
Hi,
Have just got back from the event at UEA. Well done to all who contributed today and got it off the ground. Promise I'm going to lend a hand and probably some kit to the next gig.
Cheers and well done to all.
Mark Wilkinson.
It was a good day even if we did do only one install. I think, Some one correct me on this, that it was the best attended meet yet.
I am looking to organize a meet in ipswich for the moday bank holiday at the end of may.
Also does someone want to organize a trip to Linux Expo 2001?
Thanks
D
PS CEPi I have your bag.

news from the london meet, there were aprox 60 people there, and we did a dozen or so installs.. it was good fun ;)..

I'd be interested in this, I'm based in colcheser so norwich is a bit far for me. If you want a hand to organise something in Ipswich then let me know and I'll do what I can...

I'll be going to the LinuxExpo this year, i'll probably be going a few days before and staying with friends though, will definatly be interested in meeting up with people once they are there...

What we did last year was to pass around mobile numbers just before the event and meet up outside, I reckon this will be the easiest and we just pass around which trains we are getting etc. just before if you want company on the journey.
I would reccomend that if you do go you will get more freebies on the first day but more discounted things to buy at the end of the second day.
