You can try uk.comp.sys.palmtops or comp.sys.handhelds.palm (I think), but you might be a lone voice in the wilderness. If that's the case, I guess you've got to put things back one at a time until you find whatever's doing it. First things to avoid installing are preferences extensions, hacks and anything which does anything major at boot.
