Anyone want to take a turn? All you have to do is spend at least 20 >hours a week plotting and interfering with other LUG groups and cripple their >effectiveness so that the group from the Anglian lands can take over the >WORRRRRRRLD bwahahahahah
Actually, I have been doing this since I joined ALUG in September. I was just SO sneaky no-one ever noticed. But seeing as I'm busy right now, I'm abdicating in favour of another member of the Linux Illuminati.
The Linux Illuminati predate Linux as we know it; they are responsible for vi, USB support (or lack of), the switch from one version of rpm making it incompatable with another, and Debian Testing (also known as Debian Confusing). I was personally responsible for the bug in supermount which locked directories irrecoverably. I'm quite proud of that one. My other favourite is the NVIDIA drivers, but I cannot claim sole responsibility for that - it took a *real* evil genius to come up with that one. (Let us just say that that person is on the list.....)
