Because I'm playing about with web stuff and postgres at the moment, I thought of a good site I could do (Best idea for a site previously has been a poultry laying site, like a public record of how many eggs my hens lay per day)(I liked Jo's "what I am thinking" idea). My new idea is a book database, full of the best books i've read, and comments, and the idea is that visitors can add to the db with recommended books. Think it would be abused?

How about doing something along the likes of www.dooyoo.co.uk? You write an opinion on something, and other people rate that opinion "not useful", "useful", "very useful" and can add comments of their own about that particular item? That way, you have third party people ensuring that the opinion of the book is going to be worth reading.
