I've got an ubuntu (maverick) computer that is refusing to load sound modules on start-up.

The command 'sudo modprobe snd-hda-intel' loads the modules and all works, but this has to be run manually.

I added the last line after perusing the internet, but it doesn't help.
Can anyone see what I can't? I'm not too hot on sound and modules and t'ing. Is this wrong: Kernel driver in use: HDA Intel Kernel modules: snd-hda-intel ?
