I've recently bought a multi-format dvd-burner (and for anyone who hasn't been looking, prices have plummeted lately).
I am using a spindle of what are (AFAIK) good quality dvd-r format blanks. They seem fine.
My question is, based on peoples' experiences, what are the advantages/disadvantages in using dvd+r format instead?
Thanks Syd

As far as I can tell there is absolutely no benefit at all, although about a year ago DVD+R blanks were 75p each and DVD-Rs were over a quid. You could perhaps find better compatability on different players with different kinds of blanks though.

Thanks, Adam, that's pretty much what seemed to come out of a bit of reading too - that DVD+R apparently has a few technical advantages but not enough to make any real-world difference at the moment. My DVD player and all the computers seem to read the DVD-R blanks that I bought so I may as well stick with them.
