Any Video/Audio Conferencing App for Linux?

It seems as though the ALUG is becoming bigger and better. I am now in Japan, after I graduate from the UEA (and forced to leave the country -:)) I wonder if I can join you through Video/Audio Conference. But is there any? (Don't say we have irc with us) It would be grateful if anybody know of its existence. Hey there, I've been following the list since its inception, in the background. I think its time I got involved, see if I can help at all. There's a couple of us at the Electroacoustic Music studios at UEA trying to run Linux boxes for synthesis and composition (nightmare). I run RedHat 6.0, and am about to try to install debian m68k on a mac powerbook 165c (THE nightmare). Willing to help organize meetings at UEA or elsewhere, although I have 0 strings to pull. If anyone is interested in jMax (IRCAM) or any other port for SG music software, get in touch. Glad to be in ALUG, finally.... Path and Gnome launching

Couple of small problems. Firstly could someone tell me how to add a location to my path every time that I boot. I need to know which configuration file buried somewhere in /etc I presume and what I need to add to it. Like adding a statement to the autoexec.bat file in dos (sorry I know it's a taboo word). I think file holding the path variable is /etc/profile but I'm unsure how to add to it. The file has the line PATH="$PATH:/usr/X11R6/bin" is this my path or an addition to it? In dos each location in the path is separated by semicolons i.e. path=c:\;c:\dos;c:\windows;c:\windows\system ... etc. How do I do this in Linux? Secondly I want to create a launcher icon on the panel in Gnome to launch StarOffice, this launches from a script which can be achieved in a terminal window by ./<nameofscript>. What do I need for the properties of the launcher, like how do I specify a path for the script? I tried just entering the path of the script in but it doesn't work although double clicking the script in Gnome File Manager works a treat. GTK Mozilla

Hi all, I'm trying to make mozilla (nightly build) see libpixmap.so for the gtk+ themes engines. On startup, however, it just says that the file isn't found. I've tried symlinks from the cwd and /usr/lib, /usr/local/lib to the file/directory, to no avail. I've even run an strace on it but it doesn't mention getting that particular file. All other gtk apps work fine with the themes. Any ideas? James. With regards to the generous offer from SAMS Publishing, I'm going to recommend the following books for the group: 1) Linux: A Network Solution for Your Office (published July, 26th) - Sounds like a good book for those considering Linux in their business 2) Teach Yourself Linux in 24 Hours (published in June) - A good book for beginners and comes with the Caldera 2.2 distribution that includes a cut-down version of PartitionMagic and BootMagic 3) Linux Unleashed, Third Edition (published August 1998) - A good all-rounder and includes a copy of RedHat 5.1 Let me know what you're opinions of the above are, and if all is agreed, I'll relay these choices over to Don at SAMS Publishing.
