Looking forward to coming to UEA again next Sunday, presume we can park near the venue to download computer, monitor etc and then, probably, go back to the car park. Hope to be there before or near 2 pm. Thanks Terry

LinkSYS ethernet card under Linux

I'm trying to get a LinkSYS PCI ethernet card (EtherFast 10/100 Lan Card) working in Linux. According to the instructions it use the tulip driver. I have assigned the tulip driver to the ethernet card, but when the tulip kernel module tries to startup it fails with "Device or resource busy". The machine with this card in is running Mandrake 7.0. Any hints, suggestions to get this ethernet card working? Ashley -- Dr Ashley T.
